The term “Etherium Killer” (the time when another platform Overtakes Etherium) has been around as long as “The Flippening” (the time when another cryptocurrency overtakes Bitcoin in market cap).
But while “The Flippening” is easy to understand, the term “The Etherium Killer” is harder to define.
Some think it means the same as total market cap (a kind of “Flippening of Etherium).
Some believe that is when a platform has more tokens and transactions than Etherium.
Others believe it means that TX fees on another platform are drastically less as compared to Etherium — while residing on both; as in the case of Tether (both an ERC20 and TRC20 token) which runs on Etherium and Tron.
IMHO, the true “Etherium Killer” will not possess just one of the above, but ALL of them.
